Our trip to Costa Rica, planned and led by Il Viaggio staff, greatly exceeded our expectations. The itinerary they developed took us to both coasts and many of Costa Rica’s highlights in between.
They took great care of all the logistics, with special attention paid to my wheelchair needs and other accessibility issues. They provided a variety of specialty wheelchairs that allowed me to go deep into the rain forests and see the birds and animals up close, soak in thermal springs, and ride waves in the Pacific Ocean with my sweetie.
Our guide was extremely knowledgeable, especially about Costa Rica’s natural resources; he knew exactly where to take us to see amazing birds and wildlife, sharing our delight with everything we saw. Both he and our driver spared no effort to make every day safe, comfortable and exciting.
The accommodations were all excellent – comfortable, accessible, surrounded by nature, and the breakfast buffets were delicious and generous. We even asked for some recipes to bring home and try! One of our favorite meals was an authentic lunch we helped prepare at an organic farm.
We would love an opportunity to return to Costa Rica, and we wouldn’t consider using anyone other than Il Viaggio to make it possible.
