“La Inspiración”: A Social Welfare Project That Transforms Lives and Breaks Barriers

La Inspiración is a social welfare project led by the Costa Rican Accessible Tourism Network, whose main goal is to improve the quality of life for people with disabilities through the design of adapted clothing for daily living. This initiative seeks to provide people with disabilities functional garments that promote comfort and autonomy, not only during travel but also in their day-to-day life.

But that’s not all: Il Viaggio Travel actively collaborates with this project by gifting its passengers shirts from the “Breaking Barriers” movement. This movement, part of La Inspiración, aims to raise awareness and promote social inclusion for people with disabilities through adapted and supportive fashion. The shirts with the “Breaking Barriers” message represent a symbol of support for this cause.

Additionally, for every five shirts purchased, adapted school uniforms are donated so that children with disabilities from low-income families can attend school comfortably. This charitable component of the project is crucial as it fosters inclusion in education and allows these children to enjoy a fuller, more equitable life.

Through this collaboration, Il Viaggio Travel reaffirms its commitment to accessibility and inclusion, promoting not only accessible tourism but also actions that positively impact the lives of many, breaking barriers and building a more inclusive future.
